Jewish Camp

Jewish camping plays a vital role developing a strong and proud Jewish identity. Children who attend a Jewish camp or participate in youth group have more Jewish friends, are more inclined to raise a Jewish family when they become adults, and are more likely to stay actively engaged members of a Jewish community.

Last summer, we had a record number of our kids making lifelong friends at Jewish Summer Camp. Temple Beth David, with the support of our Sisterhood, would like to help any temple member's child who wants to attend Jewish camp, get there!  The temple’s Youth Engagement Fund also helps make summer camp possible for our kids. If you are interested in financial support please please let us know.

While we are eager to help any family that is sending their child or children to Jewish camp, our policy is to offer greater support to Jewish Summer Camps affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. In addition to Eisner Camp and Crane Lake Camp in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, there are a host of URJ affiliated camps throughout the country.
