The word “Heinnei” means I am here. It is Abraham’s response to God when God calls out to him. At this difficult time, know “Heneinu”: We are here. Whatever you need, we are here as a community to help you and your family through this challenging time. Please feel free to reach out and lean on us for everything and anything. From the practical to the spiritual. Jodi, our board, this community, and I are here to help and be of support in any way we can.
This pandemic is a unique, if not new, story. No one knows where it will go, how it will end, or what the end impact will be. All we know is that it is scary and can be very overwhelming. Just know that how we react in times of crisis can say a lot about who we are and what we stand for.
“Kol Yisrael Arvaim ze la zeh” all Israel (all the Jewish people) are responsible for one another. Temple Beth David takes this responsibility seriously. We will survive this and we will get through this trying time together. We will come out the other side stronger for the experience. We will act as a kehillah kedosha, a sacred community, as we always do.
We are here for you.
