'Nu?' has been re-nu-ed!
Posted 8/29/01

After a brief hiatus, the 'Nu?' page is back. I am pleased to say that I am the new editor of this page.

The most asked question about this page is, of course, "What's 'Nu?'" The answer is that 'Nu?' is the place to present stories and pictures about Temple Beth David, its various events, and the activities of its members. If you have a story or pictures that you would like to share with the rest of the Temple family, send them to me at: mecobern@cox.net

I will try to keep this page current, as well as fill in some of the stories that weren't covered during the break.

Ambulance Fundraiser A Success

Nancy Gottlieb, Gerry Barker and Rabbi Silver are all so pleased to report that Temple Beth David has raised its $13,000 commitment for the purchase of the ambulance for Israel. The enthusiasm and participation of our temple members has been wonderful. Thanks to everyone who contributed towards this important cause. Accomplishing this goal in under a week is a true testament to our congregation's spirit and commitment to Israel.
